We are still waiting when car companies...
...will allow for an app store for the car's internal computer.
Just imagine if we could install approved software on our Nav/Entertainment car systems! Below there is an article from NYT about iPhone and gPhone apps for drivers

8 Little Things We Still Can't Stand About the iPhone
1. Long text messages are auto-split without any indication or character counter
2. UI Inconsistencies: The Jumping “New” button
3. No search in email
4. No attaching pictures from within an email
5. Inconsistent gestures: Where’s the swipe?
6. No way to add home screen shortcuts for Airplane mode, WiFi, Blueooth, or 3G toggling.
7. Arranging applications sucks something terrible
8. No custom themes without jailbreaking (I don't care about this one btw)
